I've been involving myself in all sorts of sidequests in Chapter 2--esp. those involving my cleric/ranger main character. The Temple of Helm has asked her to find a thief called Travin, who has apparently stolen a item called the Dawn Ring. He is supposedly in the slums at night, but I can't find him! Does anyone know where Travin the thief is?

He's standing just south of the northern exit of the slums. He looks exactly like a thief. You can't miss him.

I tried looking for him at the Northern Exit, just south of the exit and north of the Copper Coronet, but I just can't find him. I've only been searching at nighttime. Is this right? Or, is there a specific time of day that I should be attempting my search?
