I got an "earful" in an email today from someone on this forum that I'm arrogant and a total loser. I know I make sarcastic jokes all the time and expect people to take them as unseriously as I do...maybe I shouldn't.

So, come on, out with it...am I really that bad? Here is your chance to tell me....I won't be offended in the slightest, although I will take it into account and maybe try and act differently. Then again you can just tell me to piss off and say this is a stupid thread to make...I don't mind either way ;)

Well, sarcastic jokes can be fun, just try to put in some smilies to indicate that they ARE jokes [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Also, the only thing you've done lately that's annoyed me was sounding rather.... Cold, in Avatar's "I'm leaving IW" thread. That's not something that makes people like you, at least not me.

I don't think you're all that bad, I mean, sometimes your comments sound a little unecessarily sarcastic, but nothing I find too offensive, I just wanna know who has the major problem with you.
But then maybe it's because I'm English, we have sarcasm and cynicism bred into our bones.

P.S I'm not taking sides in case the person comes here and thinks that way, I was just wondering, okay.

Um. I do think you push people's limits sometimes, but I realised from the beginning that trolling, insulting or flamebaiting isn't your objective, that it's just the way you normally act. [img]smile.gif[/img]
So personally I never thought you were being too sarcastic (in fact I have agreed with some of your sarcasm at times ;) ). I do think that you, like everybody else online, should make respect for others a priority, so that if you truly do offend a person you will have the decency to apologise. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Just look upon it as the best compliment one could ever get, people notice you and have an opinion about your attitude at the same time. Dang, now I'm all jealous... I want fanmail like that as well. :D

I really like you. You say how it is - you don't sugar-coat your posts. We need people like you around here, and I'd miss you if you were gone. Everyone realises you often kid around and are sometimes sarcastic, but it's just humour, and if people don't see that, well, I think it's perhaps due to a lack of insight on their part.
