hi,

i took the right track first and found the (crossroad?)leaver and the control stick.
i pressed the leaver...

now i took the right track and at the crossroad the left way...

i cleard the area but the only "special" i found was the heeling water, the cave crab, and a leaver for the crossroads..which i pressed.

now im trying to get into the right way of the crossroad but no chance.

it always use the left track =(

what am i doing wrong? i tried both leaver positions...

I am having the same exact problem.

PLease, PLEASE PLEASE tell me how you solved this. I keep going down the left passage at the first intersection. Can't even get to the 2nd intersection. So darn frustrating.

Anyone out there that can help???

There are two points where the tracks diverge, and each has it's own controlling switch. You need to go to the relevent switch and reset it each time you want to change your direction on that switch point. The critical one you are talking about is in the the section of mines you have to visit to find the stuff to get the second cart to function. And yes, it is a total pain to do.
