Without full spoiler, where does one "find" Shale, once the download is complete?

IIRC as soon as you DL, you will find a place called Sulchers Pass on the map. Go there.

Also while Shale is probably the best Tank in the game, just be careful with some of your choices during the Dwarven Quests as you can loose Shale permanently with a wrong choice.

Your quest journal will be updated under "Premium content" once you've downloaded the DLC & resumed your game. It'll tell you where to go to start the quest.

Yup, once you do Sulcher's Pass you get the village on your map for finding Shale. A fun quest, that one!
