Actually it's plagiarism, not plagerism. And altough I don't know which instant messenger was first, I don't think it was windows messenger.

I won't start using it until someone integrates it as a part of some third party multi-network client. And not even then if that client isn't otherwise good.

I'm not sure, but I don't think anyone has a patent on IM's. After all, chat rooms are essentially really big IM centers.

Actually the majority is using AIM according to some numbers i found.

Now for the point. Since u have to have GMail i wont getting it since i cant get GMail at the moment.

This one of the few things where I'll actually stick with Microsoft. MSN is just handier, since everyone already uses it pretty much.
