ok, this is kind of cheesy but i thought i might put it up anyway.
OK so what you do is you put all the items you want doubled into a box, bookcase, chest, ground etc. then save. Pick up everything and save it as a different file, then, go out of the game and into your baldurs gate 2 save directory and go into your first save game (the one where everything was on the floor) and find the Baldur.sav file and copy it into your other save game (the one where everything was picked up. say 'yes' to overwrighting the file and your done, go back into bg2 and load your SECOND game, you should have all your stuff both in your inventory and another copy of everything on the ground (chest, bookcase etc.)

I saw the movie, but I didn't think the action scenes were THAT good.

LOL - if you're going to double your items anyway, just use the CLUAConsole cheat...no offense, but that's the most laborious method I've ever heard of!! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/hihi.gif http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

Maybe he's a Diablo Duper? I know, why not wreck the game further with even more cheats and hacks.

But really, when you can download Shadowkeeper from any number of places and change nearly every in-game variable, why bother? Cheating is cheating no matter which way you slice it.

chinese noodle 10-30-2001 01:05 AM

lol, yeah i know but TECHNICALLY its not cheating, its a kind of bug

floyd 10-30-2001 03:18 AM

so its a bug that if you copy certain save files from folder to folder you can duplicate items? i mean, why didn't bioware think of that and fix it? http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif I'd call that a cheat, friend.
