Patch 1.03 now available
 

Hi All

The new patch says it fixes some of the things that have been a bone of contention on this forum.

I am loading it as I type.

I thought patch 1.03 was available quite sometime ago? And according to this thread, http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/...d.php?t=101410 . Patch 1.03 is so bad that it makes the game unplayable.

You are right.

I wish that I had read those previous threads before updating. The strange thing is that I hadn't had the update pop up on the startup page on the previous times that I have played?

Now that I have loaded it onto my game do I:
1) Continue playing?
2) Reinstall the game without the patch?
3) Find some other way to resolve the problems that I am about to get?

Any suggestions?

You can play DA:O unpatched. Which I did. However if you were to install the expansion, the expansion installer will auto download and install patch 1.03 for you.

Mainly some crashes but it's not that bad. I got two ever. Just save often. ;)

I have only had 1 crash since loading the Patch. I wouldn't say it makes the game unplayable, I can't tell the difference.
