<font color=skyblue>An interesting, simple formula, no? So Nike and IPod came up with this walkers' runners' joggers' device that lets them keep record of their work out. They drop it in their shoe and forget about it, as they advertise. Its sold in the "on" position and although it has an off switch, some people may not see the reason or desire to turn it of, as that is not a requirement.

Some kids at the university of Washington figured out how to use this new gadget against the user, and track their every move.</font>

Researchers report that it took them about 10 minutes to figure out how to decode a receiver's unique tag and a few hours to write the code that interprets the sensor data. They estimate that an electronics hobbyist could build a system in a few hours, or at most a weekend. And if somebody posted sensor-scanning code on the Internet, it would be easy for others to build copycat devices.

Let me see if I got this right, the tracker has to be within range of 60 feet to work?
This doesn't sounds that dangerous they want it to sound. :|

<font color=skyblue>A determined, resourceful person could still make good use of this and maybe somebody smarter than a college student with $300 could extend the range.</font>
