i am at the exit where it says some thievies are trying to enter and there is an elevator,but it is not qworking any help here would be appreciated

I think there is a rope or some such thing that that you need to click to activate the elevator. It reminded me of one that was in Dragon Spire. Hope you manage to get out of there!
