Hi, I guess this is really a personal preference, but I would like to hear your views on the above. I've managed to complete SoA with 2.5 fighters (my Kensai, Minsc and Jaheira) and 1.5 priests (Viconia and Jaheira), but am wondering if this is sufficient for TOB (ie, if 3 fighters are a better bet, I'd have to dump Jaheira I guess).

Would appreciate any comments you have on this. Thanks!

Different fighting styler require different parties. A power gaming person, for example, may want 4 berserkers and 2 kensai. Dual one Kensai to a mage, dual one to a thif, and dual one berserker to a thief. Or maybe you want a heavy magic based party. Or whatever.

I had an Inquistidor, Sarevok, Minsc, Valgyar, Jan and Viconia my first time though SoA and ToB. Then I tried a Monk, Sarevok, Minsc, Keldorn, Jan and Aerie. Both worked fine, although Keldorn and Aerie used up like a dozen Rods of Resurrection.

Actually, your mix sounds pretty good. I usually go with 2 priests (one main cleric (Anomen or Viconia) and one backup (Aerie or Jaheira)) and 2+ fighters (Kensai and Minsc fit the bill, with Jaheira backing the two of you up). You should be fine!

i tend to agree with soth here! three fighers a mage a theif and one cleric (preferably yourself)! haha. but of course, imoen has been totally ripped off by being dualled-i like pure classes, and would have preferred her to remain a straight theif, so you lose out unless you have jan jansen for high level theif abilities. your party sounds fine, overall to me.
