Iv'e just discovered a way to recieve two rings of gaxx without cheating with editors. Or get the ring without having to fight the demiliche.

When you fight Kangaxx you can pickpocket him when he rises from his box.
I had Jan wearing boots of speed, I left the rest of the party by the door and marched little jan up to the liche. I clicked on the tomb to rise kangaxx, gave him the golden arms, legs ect. When you see him start to rise out of the ground get ready to pause. If you catch it just right you can pause it when he has a blue circle round his feet. Get jan to pickpocket and unpause. When the game resumes " item recieved " appears in the box and you can leg it out of there.

This means if you want the ring but do not want to fight the demi liche you can, or if your greedy like me get two rings because he still drops one when he dies.

If anyone finds this useful or know of any where else this tactic works let me know!

Generally I always managed to live with one Ring of Gaxx, it would be nice to have two, but I dunno... my tactic with Kangaxx has always been banging on his coffin, waking him up, slap him around with the Mace of Disruption and walk away jingling the Ring of Gaxx.

*shrug*

Different playing style I guess.

The running away was only an option!

Personally I did both - mugged him and then killed him = 2 x the fun!

I only manged to get the one ring. Some say taking two is a little cheese but if you need two take two besides so many rings not enough fingers.

I've never tried the "two-ring" tactic, but it might be useful to have two rings.

Nice to see another person from Denmark Sparhawk!
