The latest bug around
Well, after all the money spent on SP2 you have to wonder while IE is really worth it. |
Wow that's a serious one. Can't believe they didn't fix that. I only use IE for sites that just don't work in firefox and I try to avoid IE and windows in general as much as I can
|
haha..Firefox didn't let em acess the links in that site lol., "for safety reasons " lolas if there weren;t enough reasons already ^^

well i don't get why ppl use ie..i mean Fire fox is IMo better and easier to use Hurrah TO tabbed browsing! that being said.. is service pack two free or do you pay for it? cause i need to install it on my parents comp. since they "can't" use Firefox.. |
SP2 is free for winXP.
|
where can one download firefox v1 ?
|
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ maybe here  Click other systems/languages under download (for me default is linux i686 but I don't know if that switches if you run a different OS) Then you can select your download.
|
<span style="color: lightblue">It does switch - I think it reads your browser version string, and so it suggests the OS and Langugae you're browsing in.
And Service Pack 2 is free, except for the huge download and the problems if you install it at the wrong time... EDIT: The Secunia Article on this exploit. They only rate it as "moderately critical", presumably because you need Hide Extensions for Known File Types on for it to work. IE's full Secunia vulnerability report is "Extremely Critical", because of the IFRAME buffer overflow attack (which has <q>a working exploit has been published on public mailing lists.</q>), which Secunia can only recommend to "Use another product".
