It's been a fairly busy movie season for Belle and I thus far....

Ewan and Renee give excellent performances in their respective roles that both parody and pay homage to Rock Hudson and Doris Day. Not everyone will like this movie--I suggest it mostly for those who enjoy romantic comedies--but for those who enjoy this genre the movie is really good. True, some of the situations are a bit on the hokey side, but so were many of the movies from the very early 1960s.
David Allan Grier almost steals the show as Catcher Block's (McGregor) neurotic friend.

The split screen effect is give a new twist and is side-splittingly funny.

I'm not usually fashion-conscious, but I really wish my wardrobe looked like the clothes the men wore in this movie. Perhaps that look will come back into fashion at some point. Oh, well.

Overall, I give this one an 8 because it is really funny and Ewan and Renee have a really good screen chemistry together.

A great date movie. I found it tolerable, and the wife loved it. I recommend it for funny cheesy date fun.
