As a newbie to BG2 i am trying to construct an all conquering party. Which are the NPC's to ditch/keep??
Any help would be much appreciated!! |
You should try a multi player game where you control all the players. this way, you decide which classes to have for each player which allows for the best combos possible. also, you get all 6 players right away.

I'd do what the "TheDutkanator" says. Create all the characters yourself. There much more powerfull this way and you can get them to fit the roles you want as well. Take the experience cap off as well.

Here's the party I used last time through the game:
Me - Human - Male - Kensai/Mage Keldorn - Paladin Korgan - Berserker Viconia - Cleric Valygar - Stalker Imoen - Mage/Thief It worked pretty well, especially with the Kensai/Mage leading the pack. These guys are very powerful when they get to the higher levels. Glycerine |
How did you got Viconia and Keldorn in ssame team??? Aren't they suppose to dislike each other???

Depends on what alignment you're after really. Evil NPCs (Edwin, Viconia, Korgan) will leave if your rep gets above 18.
If you prefer a good aligned party Nalia is a pretty handy mage - she was dualled early enough so that it doesn't interfere with what level spells she can memorise, so I tend to view her as a straight mage rather than mage/thief. (especially as her thieving skills are nothing to get excited about!) ------------------ http://www.gldb.com/wayno/epona2.gif Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so. Epona of The Laughing Hyenas and The Ladies Guild. |
