I Have agreed to help Mazzy save her sister from a poison potion given to her by Wallace in the Trademeet market. When I go to see him, the only thing he does is offer to show me his wares. Nothing is mentioned about the potion. Is this a bug? What should I do.

Hmm sure you are at the correct guy?

When I did it he was asked about the potion he made and gave me further info....

Hmmmm, assuming this is not a bug, two things come to mind:

1) This is a stupid question but is Mazzy in your party when you go to see him?

2) Is she actually within sight of Wallace when you go to see him? IIRC, she actually initiates the conversation when she sees him.

Yeah, She initiates dialog and everything to no avail. Souns like I have a bug. Lousy Trademeet!!

OK, then download the official patch. If that doesn't work then try the fixpack available from the Baldurdash site. I've used Mazzy in two different games and I've never had a problem here with those two patches installed.

I loaded a saved game prior to entering Trademeet and then went to see Wallace... now it works...Sucks that I have to do all the quests there again though!

Small spoilers....

With Mazzy in your party visit the pubs in the bridge district and talk to the bar owners for a nice item. Also visit the Copper Coronet (you may need Festule the Alchemists potion) for a small subquest.
