Editing Item Icons
 

Hopefully this will be my last question for a while.

I always thought the visible cloaks which patch 1.68 implemented were ugly, and I disabled that feature in the .ini file as soon as I could. Unfortunately, that doesn't change the way cloaks look in a character's inventory. Ideally, I would like to replace those icons with those the game originally featured.

I don't know how simple or complex this might be, but perhaps someone reading this will know something.

It's not too hard. You'd just modify the icon 2da files and then convert it into a hakpak. I doubt you'd find this since the request isn't too common, but take a look around nwvault haks and see if someone actually felt the same. The work may already have been done for you and then you'd just drop the hak into your override. Use search strings like "old cloaks" etc.
