Hrmmm... now methinks that mayhap you weren't even referring to the riddle games in "the hobbit". I'm feeling semi-stupid.

Ok, Mr Burrfoot.... give us a real riddle to solve. I'd contribute first... but I can't for the life of me think of one off the top of my head.

Hmmmm, I am guessing these are kind of like lateral thinking questions...
Ok, here we go:
There are two roomsthat can only be accesed through 1 door, nor can you see into the other room. Apart from that door, the rooms are completely sealed.
In one room, there are three switches, and in the other room there are three light bulbs.
You need to find out which switch goes to which light bulb, BUT, you can only enter the other room once, and when you do, there can only be one light turned on.
When in the switch room, you can turn on the lights as many times as you want.


And no, you cant peek through a hole in the door, or slightly open it to look.

I wont post the answer for a while just to see if someone gets it.

You turn on one of the lights and leave it on for a few minutes, then turn it off and switch another light on.

Enter the room

The switch you have switched on activates the bulb that is on.

Now feel the other two bulbs, the bulb which is cold is the bulb attached to the switch you havent touched, the bulb that is warm belongs to the first switch you touched.
