Is this a bug??

I am walking around the slums at night trying and trying to find the thief from the Church's 2nd quest.(STILL cant find the jerk btw) and I get attacked yet again by vampires since its night. 2 vampires and one named vampire(takes a +3 weapon to hit). So I immediatly use my +2 Long Sword's special 1 time/day effect sunfire. All 3 mobs are suddenly engulfed in flames and each ones gets hit for approximatly "10 48 1047" damage and all die.

Also, when my hand made sorceress (Im playing in multiplayer mode so I could hand make my own party) turns lvl 10 or 11. I can suddenly cast 24 spells instead of like 5. When I level again, the number drops back down to 5 ish. (man that was cool to throw fireballs around like they were candy for a while there
