A Linkin Park fan I see here's a bit of a review of the new album from last weeks kerrang magazine;
Reanimation is an unnecessary experiment with part of what makes Linkin Park work, a vanity project between proper albums which,even if it sells very poorly, is unlikely to have the lads hauled in for a bit of a talking to by their bank managers. If you liked "Hybrid Theory", don't be suckered in -this is an object lesson in what happens when people mess around with things they don't fully understand. Simply put, to use Linkin Park's verncular, this really is Prrty Fkng Sht.

The magazine is a rock music magazine. Anyway who cares if you like it anyway it's just there opinion just because they don't like it doesn't mean you won't like it. I agree it would be a good idea to download it first though to see if you like it.

That's the problem. Linkin Park isn't trying to be a rock band, they're a mix and since their previous album was more rock they wanted to do some more hiphop on this one, so a rock magazine doesn't like it.

Hmmm maybe your right. It would be interesting to hear what a rap music magazine thought of it I've heard one song from it and I didn't really like it but then again I didn't really like hybrid theory either. It has to be said that the magazine gave a good review to Eminens album and that's rap but I think you have a point.
