I remember when I first installed the game having the options to "Revert Game" or "Reset Adventures"

Later after the fouled memory and DX 8 problems, when I was able to re-install the game and play through with no errors, I only had the option to "Reset Adventures"

Perhaps I could have helped Elcid with this knowledge earlier and would like to know if I am just missing something obvious because I still don't see the "Revert Game" Option in my game but I know it exists!

Thank you!

it is an option in any inn. it brings you back to start of the last adventure. very cool very helpful little save feature.

I quickly learned what "Revert Game" meant on my first playthrough (long before I found this forum) when I first discovered the meaning of "Mantrap"....grrrrr!

As Slug says, it's in the Inn screen. It will take you back to where you were when last you left town, rather than start the entire game over again. You still lose some time, but it's better than not having it at all.

I had a problem on one of my playthroughs with the Ghost of Gliebott not showing up, even though I had accepted the quest. So I had to "Revert Game" and start Shurugeon again, even though I had gotten a Nightblade(!) from the undead armorer in the first time through (wasn't there the 2nd time http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/frown.gif but Gliebott was!)

So, it can help you out of a jam. Bad thing is, you may lose some cool stuff (like I did with the Nightblade.)

Ahhh! So INSIDE the Inn, you can "Revert Game" and OUTSIDE the Inn, you can "Reset Adventures"!

I was thinking the Revert Game Option was available outside the boundaries of the towns! No wonder I did not see it!

Thank you Slug and Sazerac!!
