i havent finished yet but ý am at chap5 and its 28 days(game time).
real time :near 2 months!!!!! (its toooo long ý know but I spend 1-2 hours a day and perhaphs 5-6 at weekends on this game).

Let's see.....I got the game for christmas, played it to chap 5, joined this forum, realized I missed 75% of the side quests, started a new game playing a pure thief, played half the side quests and decided a thief sucks, started again with fighter, and now am on (what I have decided) to be my second to last side-quest. So all in all it has been almost 2 months and I am in chapter 2. AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH..........I may finish by next christmas though

real time from 20th october till 31st December (wanted to finish it in 2000 so i did)

The first time I took 115 games time, real time was Dec 12 to Jan 10th, so almost a month. Second time, did none of the side quests as a Bard and beat it in 86 mins with three tanks, two mages and a cleric. This time I am doing a Mage with as many other mages as I can squeeze in at different times. Should be . . . interesting. Took under 1 day and 15 hours to get to ch2. We shall see.

For those of you who have done the Multiplayer option, do you find that it makes the game go faster? Just curious. Didn't mean to change the topic of the thread, but I thought it would make sense to add it to this one. Thanks

I found that the single player was faster because you can sometimes do multiple NPC quests at the same time. If your party is loaded up with your own generated characters then you only have room for one or two NPCs. A lot of the NPC quests have lag times between developments and if you can coordinate them together the game goes by faster. For me at least. However, if you don't do any NPC quests then the game should go by faster in Multi player.

Ive checked my save before fightning the last battle, and its 60 days and 1 hour. However, i always used the same party (i mean that i didnt take NPCs just for completing their quests). Another fact is that the last week or so i went holidays to Umar while my apprentices in the planar sphere were working for me .

My first game, I did all the quests I could find, and completed the game in 28 days gametime, and 2.5 weeks real time. I had to hurry completing the game before school started. In my second game I wanted to see how the romance with Jaheira was, so it ended up in 600 days game time.
