After i kill Scabban i can't seem to find the switch that opens the grate below. I find a switch but it doesn't do anything at all. The switch that i find is on the first floor while Scabban is on the 2nd. Which floor is this switch supposed to be?

It's on the wall behind where Scabban appeared (the wall has barrels at both ends). This opens the grate to the underwater passage in the water-filled room below.
