How do you get in???

heh - this one bugged me for a while.

To the side of the temple there is a path in the forest that leads to a stream that leads to another path in the forest that leads to another stream that leads to... the back of the temple

And I naively assumed that the secret entrance should simply be on the back of the building or something. I'll be wiser in the future.
