Is bard song (normal bard) usefull in a fight? It doesn't seem to do much for me

Skalds have the best songs in SoA( it upgrades as the Skald levels up), in ToB all bards have access to the most powerful bard song.

It should either confuse ur enimies or give saving thorw bonuses to ur party depending on ur kit. The song of the normal bard should do the latter...
This will improve with levels in all kits bar one- cant remember which but i know its one of the subkits, not just the normal bard.
But if u dont like it, dont use it...
Like any weapon.
