Don't walk over the middle flame (the one that heals you). I walked through the flames and healed myself between flames to get to the levers. After you pull the one lever, walk back the way you came. If you try to take a short cut through the middle, it will reset itself.

For the life of me I cannot get past the first room with all the mystic flames and the two levers on either side. This is in the first crypt of the game and i guess i'm just not seeing the pattern. If anyone who chose the way of the wizard can help me I would greatly appreciate it...
