I have this modem, by Arris, but installed by my phone/cable company. It has two slots for backup batteries, but came with only one. I wanted a second one so my phone would last up to twenty hours without power instead of 8-10. I was told by the Arris company that I cannot talk to them, that they are not allowed to talk to Time Warner customers...that I have to deal through the people that installed the modem. I have already tried, but Time Warner does not plan on selling me a second battery.

How the hell can I get a blasted second battery????????????

PS...sorry...I cannot get the photo any larger from the server that I am hosting it from. This is the URL.

What excuse did TW give for not selling another battery? Whoever you spoke to at TW, I'd ask for their supervisor.

Sorry Larry, the only advice I have to to try talking to Arris again and as VulcanRider said speak to the supervisor. They should be selling the batteries as its their product.

The only thing I can immangine would be the problem will be if they are not selling to the general public and you have to go through an authorised resller ( Which Time warner may be )

Also if you take out the battery and see what brand, make, model it is you may be able to buy it online or from a batery shop.

Is there a Batteries Plus near you? That's where I go for my non-standard batteries...

*edit* And a letter to the president may prove fruitful as well... "Wanted to let you know that I really wanted to buy another battery from you, and your customer service folks refuse to sell me one or give me a reason why they won't."

You can search the internet. Most battery packs are used in multiple products. You may be able to find a replacement there.

I think this battery is unique. I could not find any matches on the net with my searches.

See if you guys can.

Is there a part number on the battery? Or a manufacturer?
