I have read all the previous posts on this to no avail.
I have the person who is wearing the dragonarmor clicked on. I put the letter in the box. I went back to Erzbeth (sp?)and she doesn't acknowledge that I completed her quest.
Even with the armour, I cannot pass the bronze dragon.
What am I missing here????

Hm, after you doing all this right, is the beast still moving? If you place the letter in the box and wearing a dragon armor, the beast should stand at the end of the way. It is still breathing, but you can run through and switch the lever at the end of the way. Then it sould be silence.
