Alright, i recently "bought" Metallica's Load album online and when it finished downloading, only one song in the folder recognized it's album being called Load. All the other songs are recognized as single songs so i can't add them to the Load album in Windows Media. Howdo i fix this so that i can listen to these songs without having to go into my My Music folder and double clicking?

You say that Windows Media Player won't recognise them as part of the album? (Obvious... but just in case) Have you tried entering the album details manually in WM? Try right clicking on each file > properties > summary tab
Then enter all the details yourself... However, if WM does recognise the files as the same album, and it is only explorer (that window) that doesn't, then do the following. In WM, click Tools > Process Media Information Now. That should update your files... Hope that helped... |
thanks, i looked in Media player and found the other songs were classified in and "Unknown Album" and updated it. But is there anyway to change the file so that the songs are classified as part of the Load album in the folder?

Never mind, it did it itself when i updated the media library

If it happens again, and it doesn't do it automatically... the last option (Tools > Process Media Information) Should work...

Well, in case those are mp3s you could just edit the id3 tags with (for example) tagscanner.
|
You can typically right click, choose properties, and enter the stuff in there...provided that you turned file-protection off in WMplayer...
You also should know that it's Ronnie, not Ronnoe ;) |
i thought there was something wrong with that. When i first saw it i thought it said "Ronene" which looks like the transliteration of the Rusian word for "wounded"
