Ok I'm in the vale of the shadows and I've killed everything except the guy who asks me to kill the ice queen. I know she is supposed to be in the cave under the statue but eveytime I go in she's not there... whats the deal... I talked to here when she was a barmaid and she hitailed it out of there...
Assistance would be appreciated

Have you try the 1.06 patch? I am not sure if this would help. Normally the Auril Pristess will spawn in the cave below the statue after you talked to the Undead Barbarian king.

make sure you talked to Kressilack in the bottom of the big tomb. He will tell you all about the Aurilite. the key here is to accept his quest. if you're wishy washy and say anything other than that you will kill her and return shortly, she will not appear in that cave. double check your journal to make sure you have the quest.
