I've scoured the entire dungeon maze and fought through all those anoying Commando Kobolds (who always seem to get a critical hit on me) and talked to those ghosts. I then went above ground and explored the entire map where the bridge is. I killed all the villians and monsters there, but I am still flustered at what those ghosts want me to do. And one other thing, that Illmater guy, I'm pretty sure that I tried every dialog option with him but, you get the same outcome everytime. What's his purpose? Is he there just to make you scratch your head? Anyways, fill me in if you can. Keep in mind that you will most likely be posting a spoiler.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - In another part of the dungeon you'll find a skeleton (knight) - kill him a take his broken armor back to the ghosts (other knights) For the whole tale - talk to Poe the bard on the bridge itself. |

The problem with Firewine is it's such a pain in the ass to fully explore--as if the narrow corridors & constantly respawning Kobolds weren't enough, they had to go Trap the damn thing, too. But there's a room with 4 or 5 ghosts in it, and if you don't have ToSC installed, there's a trick you can do that's so cheesy I won't even repeat it.

;) SixofSpades...tell the man. I have an idea as to what it is :D

Sorry that I'm a little late in responding to all of you're helpful tips. I went ahead and retrieved the armor for those ghosts. whoppeee! a measley 1500 exp. BioWare should have made the whole Firewine area a little more mysterious with ancient Elven artifacts and stuff like that. Oh well, i guess the real mystery is what they were thinking when they added the firewine area to the game.

If you don't have ToSC, you can--god, this is stupid--pickpocket one of the ghosts. Yeah, I'm going to reach inside the ethereal pocket of an apparition and retrieve a solid artifact. Riiiiiight. If you do have ToSC, then the whole "Vampire's Revenge" sword thing is opened up. I object to the sword quest not because I don't like the sword, but because it's not anything that any normal person would ever, EVER do--the only way you could find out about the quest at all is to open up Infinity Explorer and go delving into the script. |
Thanks Six!
I guess I'll have to try that scheme you just mentioned. I hadn't heard of it before. |
How do you get this sword? I have the armour and i never found the ghosts so what do i do to get it?
|
You'll find the ghosts eventually just clear out the entire dungeon. They are near the center and you can hear the loud noise that they make as you get near them.
I have TotSC installed and would like to try this quest that Six mentioned, but I didn't understand from what he said on how to activate this quest. Come on Man, don't let us hang like this. Who do we talk to to start this "Vampire Sword quest"?? |
