Earlier today I heard from a friend that my old college girlfriend died in a car accident yesterday... she was always so nice even after we broke up, she was one of the most sweetest and most giving person I have known.
We still tried to keep in touch and call each other once in a while and I feel awful because it was so long since I had called her and now it's too late...

I don't know what else to say, I just know she is in a good place now.

It's hard whenever someone passes on. It's harder when they're someone you felt strongly about at one time in the past. And it's even harder when they pass away before their time should be up.

You have my condolences, Jorath. If you're able to, I hope you can make it to the funeral for closure all the way around (yours and her family's). Today's funerals seem to be more of a celebration of a person's life, which has made it easier for me.

May you find peace in this troubled time, and may all her friends and family find comfort.

God Jorath, I'm so sorry. My deepest sympathies for your loss. Thankfully I've never had to deal with this type of mourning specifically and I wish you lots of strength and consolation.
