I have found 2 crystals one in the spider nest, the other behind the rocks. I have found the chest by the lava (in ravine) but there is no crystal. Is this a bug. I would have to start the game over since there are no patches. Does something trigger it. Love this game but we need a patch.

Gosh Merlin, wish I had written down exactly where I had found the crystals. I don't think you have a bug - perhaps some more areas to explore? So hard to advise you when my memory is so patchy and I don't know exactly where you have explored. Hope you manage to find the third crystal very, very soon!!

I also have forgotten precisely, but 2 possibilities spring to mind:

1) There is another series of cave hallways similar to the first set that led to the Spider's Nest....it might be at the end of that.

2) In Hephaestus's house, there is a room with a chest and some flasks on the table. As you enter, you get the narrator's speech about how lousy it would be to steal from a blind man. It could be in that chest.
