...To Learn How To Play?

When I was young I wanted to learn to play guitar. Well I finally bought one, tried to teach myself how to play and...well....I stink at it.

When I was young I also hated violin music. Not so now. My dream is to learn to play the violin, but I'm afraid I might stink at that too. Someday I'll pay for lessons and learn.

How about you?

I've always thought it would be great to play the piano.

The guitar would be awesome, too, but like you, I had a go at it, and there was a problem with the "stink" thing...lol. :D

Blimey, I had violin lessons for a bit when I was younger, and I SUCKED! I'm fairly good at the whole music thing (piano, guitar, singing) but I just couldn't get the hang of the violin at all, and it made my arms, shoulder and neck ache horribly. Still have the bloody thing sitting in a case somewhere, keeping it for sentimental value cos it's an antique and belonged to my Gran who could play.

I would like to learn to play the sax (tenor or alto), possibly the trumpet or trombone would be good.

I'd love to learn to play the piano properly. I can play it and keyboards a little, but I'm a guitarist who also plays bass.

I think it's a little like the musicians who want to act and the actors who want to sing thing...

I also learnt the Clarinet for a very short while in primary school and would love to oneday pick it up again.

I'd give my right arm to be able to play the violin.

I still have the guitar, simply because I still hope that someday I'll be able to play it. Strange though, I've never been accused of being an optimist! ;)
