The gentleman in the video is a world champion magician. His name is Lennart Green from Sweden. He is a FISM winner (that's like the international olympics of magic and yes, it's a BIG deal in the magic world). What you are seeing is part of his championship presentation routine.

He'll hold the pack with his left hand, deal with his right, flick the card with his right off the packet to get the noise while still holding one end, and then slight it EITHER behind his right hand (In the palm) or Under his left (behind his fingers).

Bloody amazing how they do it.
