Ok I'm stuck here. It wasn't this hard last time lol. I've said the word to the guard and gone down, but I can not find the tunnel that goes over where I can met the Shaman. What am I missing, and/or doing wrong?

Well - I'm not sure what you are doing wrong since there aren't so many toad tunnels in which to get lost so .....

also note that there are maps you can download which may solve your problem.

Now, as I recall - after saying Ekbu and going down that ladder - you should head off in tunnels to the south and then head off towards the west. Wish I could be more helpful than that but I'm sure Xignal's maps will solve your problem.

If you're only after quest completion, descending the first ladderwell is enough to trigger completion.

There are a couple of spots where tunnel passages kind of hide on you -- you may have been caught by one of those. I also don't remember if you have to go back to the surface and come back down again to get to a different tunnel section... seems to me there's something like that. Shinwiki is up in another hut.

Hmmm... has anyone tried climbing up Shinwiki's outside posts (like the stick room in Boogre Caves)?

BTW, if you *don't* see the shaman, you do miss out on a couple of things: some nice XP (from an encounter he sends you on), a decent spear, and the 5HP bonus from the sacred Toadem. Those 5HP are kind of nice at that stage of the game... :D

Aleph_null, i think you should be permanently consigned to the rogues gallery for that short-cut!

i hate it when the villagers get you stuck in the tunnels. also, killing shinwikki gets you more exp points than the mud man.
