When you stumble across Drizzt and his crew in SoA, they are in the middle of a search after the dwarfs red Hammer.
And then they ask you if you have seen it, but I have never.
So, is it in the game at all, or not?
Ps. I just love that dwarf!

No, it's not in the game, so you can rest easy, you're not missing anything. ;)

the only thing you can do with Drizzt is
1.) recruit him as an ally against Bodhi
2.) battle him and loot his excellent Scimitars

If you choose option 2 be aware that it can be a very hard fight and that some of your NPCs will not approve it. Jaheira for example will instantly leave the party and screw the romance.

Phew, this is good news, I thought for a minute there that I'd lost a quest.
But I had'nt, which is great! :D
