BOW TO BOO!!! Hmm... Far as I know, he has no actual uses in BG2, except for adding some stuff to dialogs ("Boo says,..."). Edwin's amulet is great, adds a lot of spells (you already said that though). Now, BOW TO BOO!!!

As far as I'm concerned, Boo has an excellent use in keeping Minsc sa - well, not SANE, as such, but at least giving him a frame of reference that he can use to communicate with the outside world...
