Here are the Rules:
1.Don't Spam.
2.Dont start a fight with other clans.
3.If u post something about the clan do it in the
General Discussion.
4.Don't use magic unless u have a liscence or
authorized.
5.Lastly, act cool and be cool, u wouldn't want our
clan to look a bad do u??
Rules Added by SecretMaster
1.When you join the guild, you specialize in a type of magic, generally. If you do specialize in something, such as negative and positive, it is equivalent to an Upper Degree. You can join the guild specializing in 2 things only.

P.S
Please send these rules and regulations to the other
members of this clan, Thx.

Leader,
Montravant

Montravant sent me this e-mail in November, when we were open. There have been more rules added, but this is the basics everyone.

ArchMage- Highest rank of all. Only the persons who
are chosen by me and u can have this rank. They have
full authority on everyrthing. SO WE SHOULD CHOOSE
WISELY!!
HighMage- Second highest, they can also recruit but
can not ban unless they report to the ArchMage, they
can also give license on magic.
Councilors- They make the laws, these laws must first
be aproved by both the ArchMage and HighMage.
Alchemist- Makes potions with certain ingredients. Studies Ingredients, and helps research for healers.
Mage- Other known as Wizards
Enforcers- Enforcers are pretty much what they sound like, they enforce the code of magic and make sure everyone has a proper magic license.
Aprentice- These are learning wizards or mages.
Mageling- Lowest class these are the newbie mages
Healers- While not belonging to the mystical nature of pure mages, healers are a must in my opinion. This profesion allows you do be the doctors, you study ingredients, and make experimental tests to find cures for ailments. You will need a vast knowledge of Alchemy to be a healer, and you must know a certain degree of Clerical Knowledge.
NEW Enchanters- A brand new class added, enchanters use their magical talents to enchant and create items. These are very different from the Enchantment/Charms group;YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A DEGREEE IN ENCHAMENT/CHARMS YOU NEED ONE IN ENCHANTING. First, you need an Upper Degree to actually start making enchantments. From there, you start out making lesser items, you can't instantly make a superior item. You must attain an enchanting rank, which can be attained once you get your Upper Degree. Here are the ranks
Basic Enchanter- You can make magical weapons, but not fairly strong. Equivalent to +1 items.
Advanced Enchanter- From here, your weapons have a greater appeal to people, equivelent to +2 items.
Greater Enchanter-Now this is where your items get good. Not only can you make +3 items, but you can bound 1 spell to them such as magic missle, but not powerful spells (Up to level 3 spells)
Skilled Smith-The second highest enchanter, you can make +4 items and imbue 1 spell with them (up to level 6 spells)
Mystic Smith-Most powerful enchanter, makes +5 and up items and has a ability to imbue 1-6 spells (6 and up) in them, and has the ability to have an increased attribute (such as +2 to strength, but up to 4 points)

Right now, I am currently attempting to abolish Rankings. I cannot find the old post in the old posts, so i must make-do with what i have. I will also add some more stuff, and try to mold this into a succsesfull Clan. Although it isn't what Montravant had in mind (I think he didn't have this in mind), I will try my best until he returns.

Categories
Enforcer Category
Overseer- The Overseers are judges for when people disobey the law, whether it be misusers of magic, or a thief in the Clan. We can have multiple Oveerseers in the Clan.
Enforcer- These are the basic people who go and make sure people do not abuse magic, have a license, and make sure no crimes occur within guild walls.

Mage Category
Freelancer- While the mage category doesn't have a specific job for the guild, they can do tasks that need to be done for a price. These are called freelancers, who go around looking for some sort of task. Note: All Mages are Freelancers.
Loremaster- Loremasters are Wizards who concentrate on Knowledge, valuing lore and secrets over gold. They uncover secrets that they then use to better themselves mentally, physically, and spirtually. LoreMasters tend to be old and wise, and can then study Ancient Magics. Certain Requirements must be made to become a Loremaster. You must have studied magic for 15 Years, must a have a Upper Degree in all schools in the Clan, and you must take a Trial.

Dark Mage- In other Words, Necromancer. Very few are allowed, because it is extremely Dangerous. You must have a Superior Degree in Necromancy, and an Upper in Negative Energy. But be Warned, you will not get some of the benefits of being in this guild, and you will be watched with great eyes.

Note to all Mages: If you first pick your proffesion as a Mage, and then wish to become a different proffesion, you must first go back to an apprentice, learn whatever course needs to be learned, and then ask an ArchMage. The time for each course to be learned is 5 days, in real life.

Apprentice Category
If you are an apprentice or Wizard, and wish to learn a certain course, you must choose one of the following below, and spend 5 days in real life learning them.
Alchemy
Clerical Knowledge (broken down into 3 groups)
Clerical Lore
Clerical Aid
Clerical Spirituallity.
Negative and Positive Energy
Abjuration
Conjuration
Alteration
Illusion
Invokation
Necromancy
Enchantments/Charming

Degrees- Each course above has certain Degrees. Lower, Upper, Superior. When you learn the Course, you get a lower. To get an Superior, you must first spend another 2 days in real life, then you must spend another 2 days to get Superior.

How do I join?

Might consider playing a mageling or apprentice whose spells all have to do with light.

Willard 09-10-2002 08:41 PM

Cool! Can I join?! I like wizards. How do you become a certain rank?

I'd like to be either a mage or Alchemist. Specifically one that deals with Negative and Positive energy. ;)

If it's okay, I'd play a mage whose spells are all <font color='gold'>light</font> spells -- such as <font color='gold'>candlelight</font>, <font color='gold'>moonglow</font>, <font color='gold'>sunlight</font> (can be damaging against undead), <font color='gold'>dancing lights</font>, <font color='gold'>create a physical form made of light</font>, <font color='gold'>make things glow</font>, and <font color='gold'>dazzle</font>. You know, just every way of manipulating and creating light. Maybe plus a <font color='gold'>laser dart</font>, too.

Okay with you, SecretMaster? (And my mage's name will be Rufus. ;) )

Sir Goulum 09-11-2002 08:52 PM

Can I join? I'll take.....Enforcer...if I can.

Willard 09-12-2002 08:38 PM

Hmmmmm...... either mage or enforcer...... uhh...... I'll just be a wizard. ;) One that deals with mostly Negative and Positive energies and inter-planar summoning. ;) I'd like to deal a lot with the gods too.

K T Ong 09-12-2002 09:02 PM

Wouldn't that make you more like a cleric, Willard? Well, maybe a cleric/mage...

Willard, how about sharing here just what you mean by positive and negative energies? Perhaps you can list a few spells from which I can form some idea? I know you may have already PMed SecretMaster and explained everything to him, but I'm curious.
