Barbarians have the most HP than any other class, although, they do not have such a good AC for a melee class. Fighters have decent HP, a low AC, and sometimes a low THAC0. Barbarians are more exciting, while Fighters provide you with decent gameplay that lasts. Who knows when you could be outmatched with your Barbarian..

I usually opt for a berserker over a barbarian
