Taking the advice of others I have decided to be a spellcaster but can't decide whether to be a mage or a sorcerer [img]redface.gif[/img]

I personally prefer mages as there is a bit more versatility in spell casting. They still get to cast oodles of spells at high levels as well. But I suppose Sorcerers have more of a Child of Bhaal raw power image. I think they are the best class for fitting the background, so from a roleplaying point of view...

Sorcerer, they have far more firepower. You can see my Sorcerer Spell List if you like, the link is in my signature.

You should try a mage first to see what spells that you really like, sorcerers have a very limited spellbook (I finally decided to try a sorcerer after much indecision and gnashing of teeth) Sorcerers are really cool!!! So its up to you.
