Thanks for the initial answer. However, I still can't get in. I have tried talking, walking, beating, and he just won't move. Sometimes, when I say goodbye, I get a "double image". It looks as though he might move, but doesn't. I have gone back to the junction and waited for 5 minutes or so, but no results. Any other hints or maybe something I am doing wrong.

You're probably not doing anything wrong - just a really frustrating area in the game for many players.

Do you have a character who is of much smaller size, like a pixie?? Sometimes if the smallest character leads the rest can squeeze by. Hope that will work for you!
