Engage Talrik in a conversation using the character that has the hide and then do nothing. Wait wait wait wait wait. Let Talrik babble on and he'll get around to noticing that you have the hide and take it.

as Talrik said, that he wants a longtooth hide, I got one from one of the isles around but when I give it to him, he don't want to take the hide. What to do?

I ran into this same problem... Both with the hides and with the hook (guild quest). Are you, by chance, the type to trade with every NPC you run across? That's where my problem was... I had sold him some random junk earlier and I think his inventory was full. I bought a few of the things back from him and then he was more than happy to accept both of the things...
