I rarely use it. But on one occassion I was attacked by some Zombies and I am level 30 party with two level 26 Turn Undeads. I switched it one and for ages nothing happens. I got bored and killed them with one Meteorite.

It works for me all the time. If you're level 30 they should have been destroyed, but if you were to come accross a skeleton warrior or a mummy, they would probably just turn and run.

skeleton warriors (I heard) can not be turned.

Charisma modifier effects your chance to turn undead. You can make his charisma 20 with ring (set to 18) and cloak (+2) which increases your charisma. I cant really remember their names.

Incorrect. They can be turned. Avatar, you need to wait for a few moments for it to start working. At the level you're at anything up to and including liches should just disintegrate after 5 seconds (but they might have a few swings at you first). It will work through anything - including lich spell traps and absolute immunity.

Are you sure your cleric was standing close enough to them? No matter what your level, if you're out of their range it may not take. I waited and waited and WAITED one time without anything happening, then realized my cleric was towards the back of the group. I moved him up to the front, the turning kicked in, and LAWDY how those undead ran! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/485.gif

it works for me!

All well and good if your a good cleric, but if your an evil one what's the point of turning them into allies when you have to kill them anyways! Reason I don't see the benifit of having, Vinconia in the party, other than her smooth sexy looks which can always rise a warriors spirits in the thick of battle...http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I have had issues turning in the past but I now wonder if its an issue of party AI. Like i would set anomen to turn undead but immediatly would get the message that he stopped turning undead and off he goes to attack someone. Could it be the party AI is causing him to override his order to turn and go attack? This would be an issue for me because I consider turn undead to be a combat action so he should just sit there and do as he is told.
