Well, having had to wait for an eternity longer than anyone else in the world for TOB I've finally received it today on it's UK release, yippee you may say. No, because I've got decorators in and my PC has been buried under dust sheets and behind cupboards for the last week and will be for at least another two. Curses. I'm seriously tempted to load it onto my work PC and spend the whole weekend in the office!

Shouldn't you damn the decorators, instead of the game? http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Well that's an aspect of PC separation anxiety that I haven't encountered before. The fact that it is there in front of me yet not being able to use it would drive me insane. OOoh, the concept alone infuriates me, and I'm not even affected by it http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Remind me to move my computer somewhere safe if I have to do that, I don't think I could cope http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif

Your not alone in your frustration.

I finished work at 12, and bought it straight away. Reinstalled the whole game to try to stop some of the problems people have been having. Now everytime I try to load it up the whole game crashes. I'm now on my second attempt at installing, and thinking about watching the cricket instead, I've already read the manual twice and it's just getting me more irrate.

Did you install the SoA patch? Game crashes with some video cards like ATI (I have that card). Ptch fixes it.

Seid's right. Install SoA. Then install the SoA patch. Then isntall ToB. That's what I did since I already had SoA installed from a few months back.

Now where did I leave that doughnut?!

Did you say the game crashes? If it's a fatal error problem here's a way you can fix it. Just full install SOA and TOB. That way you will always just need one disk to play it. Disc 2 of Shadow of Amn. When I get the fatal error message, I exit the game, and then enter it again. Then I can continue as normal.

Just take it to work and stay there with it forever, man. Trust me, you don't want to wait even a second more than you absolutely have to.
