Hmm. I've have Debug Mode=1 (typed as shown here) under Program Options in the baldur.ini file of BG2. I use Cntl + Space to bring up the CLUA console. I type in the cheat code and XP amount (typed as shown here), i.e., CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP("[xxxxxxx]"). I hit Enter. No dice--XP remains the same. I also hit Enter and then Cntl + Space again. Again, no good. It says something to the effect that it doesn't like 'SetCurrentXP' because it is 'long'. I have ToB (patched) installed. Why ain't this working?

since i never cheat, i dont know the exact answer to this.
from a tech perspective, are you trying to set more than 4 billion XP? oh, and i saw last night that you shoudnt have the `[`s in there. |
Remember that it only affects those of your partymembers that you have selected when you activate it.

try it without the [ ], that should do the trick!

Lol, Andrew, heh I didn't intend boosting his XP into the stratoshphere. In this case I just want to return 8800 XP to a character in an online MP campaign that he lost for reasons too complicated to explain. Every cheat site shows those brackets in the code, but I will try it without them when I get home. Thanks!
