Can someone pls explain to me how traits work for different classes. For example are they automatically used? My Wizard just made Warlock and I obtained the ancient lore trait, how do I use it to ID items?

Ancient Lore allows you to learn the Artifacts skill (which is available at the Temple earlier than at the Magic Shop).
