MAYBE SPOILER

I am wondering what I am supposed to place in the statue of Alma...? arms. It says "The statue's eyes seem to blaze with light and she seems to be waiting for something to be placed int her arms." I got the stuff, but am I supposed to put something back in? BTW, I went and ignored that and snuck out and beat the Shade Lord (easy!!) but am wondering if you get big xp or something else with the statue. Also, I attempted to fight the dragon just for fun, and got my butt whooped. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif If I come back later will he still be here? Is he BIG xp?

Any help would be nice.
Thanx in advance.

Dragon is some good XP, but great loot, including Dragon Scales which can be made into some gooooood leather-type armor.

I imagine the dragon will still be there... it took me a couple tries (and cries of frustration) to beat him, but the proper combination of summons, defensive magics works wonders. Of course, so does a couple "reduce resistances" and a feeblemind. The dragon is a lot less imposing when you've rendered it inert.

Good luck and happy fighting!

I blinded it with Edwin and smacked it around with my good ol' sorcerers cane.

Lioness,

You're not supposed to put anything in the statue's arms right now. That's in Chapter 6 and only if your PC has a love interest.

I believe it's A - M - U - A - N - A - T - O - R

If that's not the exact word/spelling then someone will correct me soon.

You have to defeat the Shadow Dragon to get one of the artifacts for Crom Faeyr if you want to forge it (the Scroll, I think).

The way I beat the Shadow Dragon at a low level, Lioness, was to first of all summon some fodder for it. It immediately wasted it's death spell on them...hooray, no more death spell. I summoned more fodder and placed them in front of the dragon, then pumped up my group with speed, defensive harmony, resist fear (against Dragon Fear), etc., etc. ... and put them behind the dragon.

I then had the "fodder" (ogres) attack the Dragon. While she was countering them, I got quite a few stabs in on her...then when she turned on us, I was more than 3/4 of the way to killing her. I had Nalia and Aerie breaching and spell thrusting on her, and Anomen, my main character, and Minsc whacking on her.

Almost lost Aerie, but not quite. Dragon went down without a reload. Lucky! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
