I'm playin as an evil monk at the mo but I'm not very happy with being evil and having a monk. If I was to go Good, I'd be a paladin or a mage. Most likely a Paladin Cavalier. In the end is it better to be good. I mean, Edwin is an amzing mage but he can't go with a good party. Any ideason what I can do for my character and also who I could have in my team?. I don't like playingas multi-classed characters much.

My first character was a conjurer from BG1,
had a lot of fun playing in BG2 with all the
neat new summoning spells.

As I probably say to everyone...go paladin, cavalier, it rocks and I promiss u won't get disapointed...
possible party

Aerie
Minsc
Imoen
Jaheira
Nalia/Keldorn

or

Anomen
Imoen
Nalia
Valygar
Keldorn/Minsc

My party now...
Keldorn
Sir Anomen
Minsc
Aerie
Jaheira

yeah I know a little bit much of a tankparty but I like the sound of smashing swords and the pureness of a man to man fight

Elven Archers (Ranger kit) are absolute killers with a bow. I
just tried one for the first time, and he kills everyone before
anyone else gets close enough to land a blow. He's still just
starting to get deadly and it's still early in the game. I can't
wait to "accidently" run into a dragon or two, just because he's
demolishing everything in his path and his racial enemy is Dragons.

Poor, poor, Firkraag...maybe even Adalon just for kicks.

The Elven archer is cool. I've used him before. What about haing Jan.

Me (Archer or Cavalier)
Jan
Amonen
Minsc
Keldorn
Aerie

2 mages is always nice.

If you want a ranger kit, go for the stalker. On the occasions where you want to backstab it's excellent and they're better at hiding in the shadows. They also get limited mage spells!

just randomly pick a race. then randomly pick a class or two. it's just a game; if it sucks you can always start over http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif.

mage dualled to fighter just so you can have your very own pet just like minsc.

and you can have edwin in your party if minsc isnt in it and your rep doesnt exceed 18 (or if it's 20 when he first joins and it doesnt drop after).

Good strategy...http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...les/tongue.gif

As for the edwin thing, are you saying I can take him when if I have a rep of 20 and as long as it doesn't drop, it's cool?

I thinkIll have go that you said. Just randomly choose something I wouldn't normally choose. Might be more fun. Maybe a half-orc cleric of lathanda or somethin like that

Hey, go with inquisitor. Trust me, most mages bow before the inquisitor.
Here's a great party:
Minsc
Jaheira
Keldorn
Yoshimo
Aerie

Also, being a paladin means wielding a massive Carsomyr!
