Exactly why is this skill in the game?
I seem to be able to run, jump, swim etc pretty damn well without any skill in Athletics...

Doesnt Deadfall lessen the damage taken when falling?
As for swimming and jumping my point was just that i seem to be able to go everywhere already, without athletics...

As I understand it Athlectics will lessen the amount of damage you take when you fall and probably lets you stay underwater longer and probably jump higher. Seems worthwhile to me.
