Also, I recommend going over to www.resellerratings.com and check out their forums. Awesome place to pick up this kind of information.

Good question. How much fast stuff do you have? How much fast stuff are you planning to get?
If you don't have DDR400 in matched pairs, don't have the money to get, and most importantly, don't have a cpu with 400Mhz FSB, then the nForce2 chipset is not the best chipset to get.
From Toms:

On the downside, not many KT600 boards left.
Then to add fuel to your thirst, here is the real side by side comparison. Again from Toms.

Since I could not get the Epox, nor the MSI, I went with a light version of the nForce2 Ultra board. Ended up with the MSI K7N2 Delta-L. I had a few problems at the start, like my 2 year old memory that has ran flawlessly in my ASUS and ECS mobo's with my "ahem ancient" Athlon would not sync on this MB, and it seems to reboot on occassion. Thats a dif I can't figure, and it's so intermittant(sp) I can't get it to replicate. But I do like the features. However, I still have night-mares about being an ATI graphics dude with an nvida chipset MB with a Radeon graphics card.

Happy hunting

the only major problem with the nforce2 (correct me if i'm wrong) is static with on board sound, i know there are some minor aspects but i think that is pretty much it.
